The Ecosystem Blueprint service aims to build a shared and structured vision of the data ecosystem, aligning all stakeholders around a common narrative: who they are, what role each actor plays, and what they aim to achieve together.
The key question driving this service is: “Who are we, what role does each participant play, and what value do we want to create together?”
DS·3 works with ecosystem participants to systematically address core questions such as:
- Who is part of the ecosystem?
- How do they currently interact?
- What data assets exist and how are they expressed as data products?
- Which strategic use cases should be addressed?
The process is based on the collection of structured information (questionnaires, interviews, and existing documentation), combined with a limited number of highly focused working sessions. The aim is not to multiply meetings, but to enable high-value conversations that align expectations, interests, and capabilities.
All this input is translated into a shared ecosystem map, providing a clear and common representation of:
- Roles and responsibilities of each actor.
- Data flows and information products.
- Priority use cases.
- Business incentives and value propositions for each participant.
The resulting blueprint becomes a strategic tool to lay the foundations of the ecosystem, reduce ambiguity, build consensus, and accelerate decision-making.
Deliverables:
- Ecosystem rolebook (roles and responsibilities).
- List of use cases and data products.
- Metamodels for data management and reuse.
